Docking stations are mainly used when the disks are replaced a lot. The ICY BOX IB-111StU3-Wh has an optical impact too, as it is not made only of plastic, but also high quality aluminium. The stylish docking station is flexible when it has to do with HDDs, as it accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs without a problem, even Solid State Disks (SSDs) can be uses.

The connection to PC is done via a USB 3.0 interface. Thanks to the backwards compatibility, USB 2.0 ports can be used too, but then it will not reach the 5 Gbit/s maximal speed. The installation is easy and quick thanks to the Plug & Play support, no drivers are needed. A classy LED indicator informs constantly regarding the actual HDD activity and access.

Simple and clear

Not a lot of bells and whistles. This is a docking station with clean lines. Both in design as well as the advanced functionality. The silver aluminum gives the product a beautiful appearance and contributes efficiently to dissipate the heat.

In the hard disk slot fits 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs or SSDs. Using the USB 3.0 port you could reach transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s.

Commissioning made easy

The hard disk must be simply inserted into the available slot and the USB 3.0 cable have to be connected to the PC. Using plug and play the hard disk is immediately recognized by the computer. No driver installation is required!
